Helping High Achievers avoid burnout because I've been through what you're going through | We only get one shot at this life so don't waste it all on work

Another man in a hat video. Start to think about how you're going to balance work and life in the new hybrid environment. And rather than Purpose, business should focus on becoming fit for purpose. #lockdownlife #wfh #lockdownleadership

Agree with you on “Compensation” “Reward” dynamic. “Compensation” is something, usually money, awarded to someone in recognition of loss or suffering. “Reward” however, is recognition of service, or achievement. Nice point on moving from “purpose” to “fit for purpose”. I see you’ve added a kerchief too.

You reminded me of Rebecca Solnit's book on post-disaster communities helping themselves, and not going back to how things were before. The title? A Paradise Built In Hell. So what's the Paradise each of us will build from the Hell of the past year?

I was told when becoming a manager that ‘you don’t decide to be a role model; you just are one.’ I used it on managerial courses I ran and noticed people squirm when they thought about how they came across at work. It has stuck with me and it’s really good to bear it in mind now. Thanks.
